Plane
Travelling from the airport to Munich Trade Fair Centre/ICM with the airport shuttle bus.
During international trade fairs, the trade fair operates its own trade fair shuttle service between the airport and Munich Trade Fair Centre. The shuttle bus runs non-stop to the trade fair every 30 minutes.
The cost for a single journey amounts to € 7.50, € 12.50 for a return journey.
The journey time is approximately 45 minutes, depending on the volume of traffic.

Travelling from the airport to Munich Trade Fair Centre/ICM by TAXI.
Taking one of Munichs 3,500 taxis is a convenient way to travel from the airport to the New Munich Trade Fair Centre and back. The one-way trip takes approximately 35 minutes, depending on traffic. Munich International Trade Fairs and the Munich taxi-owners association have agreed to a fixed rate of € 56.00 regardless of the time of year. This offer applies only to the most direct route between the airport and the trade-fair center in kilometers.
Train
Our trains are comfortable, fast, reliable and environmentally friendly. The train takes you all the way to the centre of Munich. From the main station, you can reach the Munich trade fair grounds in approximately 20 minutes with the underground or by taxi.
The journey time on the U2 line from Munich’s main station (Hauptbahnhof) to the trade fair grounds lasts approximately 20 minutes. You can find further information on this on "public transport"
Car
If you are travelling by car, Munich trade fair centre/ICM is signposted from the outskirts and throughout the entire city. Here there are many parking spaces available for both exhibitors and visitors.
Public transport
The trade fair centre can be reached in approximately 20 minutes from the town centre on the underground.
The underground U2 line operates from 5.30 am until 24.00 every 10 minutes (every 5 minutes during international trade fairs) directly to New Munich Trade Fair Centre / ICM, Stops: Messestadt West and Messestadt Ost.
You can get tickets for public transport from vending machines or over the counter at certain stops (on buses and trams you can also get them from the driver). Please keep your change ready for this.
You can buy single tickets and strips of tickets. The charge will be calculated according to zones. For all distances within the city of Munich – and also to New Munich Trade Fair Centre – 2 strips must be validated at the designated machines.
